BSOD while in sleep mode

Hello, I've had a problem for about a year now with BSODs in sleep mode only. I've recently updated all software drivers with Secunia and hardware drivers with Slim Drivers, which seems to have cut down on the frequency - now only once a week rather than every other day (but that could be coincidence too). It does not seem to matter what I have open when entering sleep, but usually it's just Thunderbird and Firefox. I hope someone can help! Many thanks if so. Here is a typical report: The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly. - System - Provider [ Name] Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-Power [ Guid] {331C3B3A-2005-44C2-AC5E-77220C37D6B4} EventID 41 Version 2 Level 1 Task 63 Opcode 0 Keywords 0x8000000000000002 - TimeCreated [ SystemTime] 2013-08-01T23:38:34.125000000Z EventRecordID 142520 Correlation - Execution [ ProcessID] 4 [ ThreadID] 8 Channel System Computer FALCON - Security [ UserID] S-1-5-18 - EventData BugcheckCode 159 BugcheckParameter1 0x3 BugcheckParameter2 0x86468690 BugcheckParameter3 0x83344ae0 BugcheckParameter4 0x85f39488 SleepInProgress true PowerButtonTimestamp 130198731803583985 - System - Provider [ Name] Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-Power [ Guid] {331C3B3A-2005-44C2-AC5E-77220C37D6B4} EventID 41 Version 2 Level 1 Task 63 Opcode 0 Keywords 0x8000000000000002 - TimeCreated [ SystemTime] 2013-06-27T00:10:51.906250000Z EventRecordID 135072 Correlation - Execution [ ProcessID] 4 [ ThreadID] 8 Channel System Computer FALCON - Security [ UserID] S-1-5-18 - EventData BugcheckCode 159 BugcheckParameter1 0x3 BugcheckParameter2 0x8567d690 BugcheckParameter3 0x83340ae0 BugcheckParameter4 0x883d8dd0 SleepInProgress true PowerButtonTimestamp 130167647138408203

To perform a clean install of a driver, follow this tutorial:
How to Clean Left Over Driver Files with Driver Sweeper

Revo Uninstaller "Free". Use Revo Uninstaller to uninstall stubborn software. Opt for Advance Mode while uninstalling. This allows you to remove leftover registry entries of the software. Link to download: Download Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Free and Full Download - Uninstall software, remove programs, solve uninstall problems

Run Disk Check on your Hard Drive(s). This will show you how to run Check Disk or chkdsk in Windows 7 to check a selected hard disk for file system errors and bad sectors on it. With both boxes checked for all HDDs and with Automatically fix file system errors. Post back your logs for the checks after finding them using http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/96938-check-disk-chkdsk-read-event-viewer-log.html

The SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker scans the integrity of all protected Windows 7 system files and replaces incorrect corrupted, changed/modified, or damaged versions with the correct versions if possible. If you have modified your system files as in theming explorer/system files, running sfc /scannow will revert the system files to it's default state.

Updated Creative drivers, driver date is now 3/18/2010. The DLLs are gone from \system32. Only .sys files now. Driver sweeper does not have Creative removal (maybe past versions did?) VIA does not support the VT8237 RAID controller anymore and the Windows 7 driver is up-to-date. I have disabled the Promise card in the BIOS (not using RAID anyway). chkdsk logs attached sfc verifies all files are correct Thanks for your response!

Sounds good. Chkdsk also repaired some file system issues. Now observe how the computer is working.

Do keep us posted.

Update Creative Audigy Audio Processor driver as it is too old and causing BSOD.

Code:
kd> lmvm ctaud2k
start end module name

If no feasible update is available, remove the audio card.

Also install Service Pack 1:

hmmm, I really like that sound card because of some of the features, plus I have the front panel for it with mic jack and sound levels, etc. The driver is the most current (it is a fairly old card). What if I disable it in device manager as a test - if it is the problem will it stop crashing? I will install SP1. Thanks again.
