Solved BSOD While Laptop Was Idle, ntoskrnl.exe

Hello,

I have a Lenovo IdeaPad Y580 and I recently got a blue screen while it was idle last night.

It is caused in address ntoskrnl.exe+6f400.

Specs:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Intel Core i7-3630
Intel HD 4000 + Nvidia GeForce GTX 660M (switchable graphics)
1TB HDD
8GB RAM

Any help here?

I'm still having the same issue and now my laptop is also freezing from time to time. My have to get it replaced within the next month or two.

I believe I might have downloaded and updated the driver but is there any way to check the driver / firmware version?

This drivers description doesn't sound very well, all SPTD drivers I've seen are known for causing BSODs regardless of the version.
From where did you download a new version?
If you go in Windows Explorer to c:\windows\system32\drivers\ and check the properties of wdcsam64.sys you can see if it is updated or not.

@kostiau, that is the data of the dump, but what is the result according to you? Only copy/pasting the data isn't a result.

I went to this link: Driver Reference Table - wdcsam64.sys

I couldn't use the first link provided because my product is not in the list, so I went to the second link and downloaded SES driver and SmartWare.

At windows/system32/drivers,

The current version of WD SCSI Architecture Model (SAM) Driver is 1.0.7.2 and last date modified is 4/29/2015.
