BSOD while logging in to email

My machine crashed last night while logging into my interment mail. I saw the BSOD very briefly before it shut down. I started a startup repair almost 12 hours hours ago...is it normal to run that long? Should I let it go or force it off and try some of the steps I found in this forum? Please help.

Thanks for the welcome and quick reply. I am unable to boot the machine so I am not sure how I will download the Dump collector exe.

"Auto Shutdown" sometimes occur from high temperatures.

In this case keep the air flow and cpu cooler fan clean.

It will not let me cancel the startup repair. Should I force it off?
