BSOD while playing any game (i.e. Borderlands 2)

Hello. Whenever I am playing games on my Alienware X51 the computer just freezes and turns off. When I turn it back on I get "Windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown" -Problem signature "Blue Screen".

I also get in the details section of the error-

Files that help describe the problem:

I have also gone to the BOSD post Instructions section and I uploaded a .zip of the diagnosis.

Try rolling back your graphics driver as these latest versions have been causing a few issues.

You can do this form the device manager by expanding the display adapters then right clicking on your graphics card and selecting roll back driver under the driver tab.

Or you can take a look at this tutorial and install an earlier display driver.

0x116 are difficult to analyse so I feel more generic troubleshooting techniques to begin with is the best option.
These bugchecks are quite a strong indication that either your display driver is buggy or your GPU is failing, therefore you should stress test your GPU.

Stress test your graphics card with Furmark

I recommend running it for around 30 minutes

   Warning

Furmark will increase the temperature of your GPU rapidly so keep and eye on your temperatures

Post back the results.

I have tried rolling back the graphic driver to a really old version and games still seem to crash it. Is there some software that can fix the blue screen error?

Roll back to 314.22 by following the previous instructions.
It's the most stable driver.
No there is no fix for issues like this by installing other fixes from 3rd party software.
Your graphics driver is causing issues and the only way to fix it is to find a stable version and stress test the GPU to see if it's failing.

If those show no signs of improvement then I have a few other ideas but that's for later if we cannot find a stable driver.
