BSOD while playing games

Hello, I'm having problems with my computer and I cannot figure out where they are coming from. I have done multiple tests on my computer and I still haven't been able to figure out what is wrong (memtest86, driver verifier).

Here are my files, I really appreciate any help that I can get.

Hello, I ran memtest again and it failed with all of the ram inserted. Once I narrowed it down to 1 stick at a time/1 slot at a time every test passed. Do you think this has anything to do with a power problem or something? I have a 650w power supply (can't find the brand name).

It might be the PSU causing the problems. 650W is enough for most systems, but if it's a cheap one, it might still cause problems.

Could it be a heat problem? Test with Speedfan: SpeedFan - Access temperature sensor in your computer

Also, could you upload a CPU-Z report?

Hello, I'll try and run the Speedfan test, during the memtest my computer was definitely getting very hot and maybe that's the reason that it only failed when all 4 slots of memory were in and not just 1 slot at a time.

I see your RAM is running at 667MHz. It appears your motherboard has support for DDR3 2200+/1333/1066/800 MHz memory module, but not 667 MHz.

What RAM do you have? All I can gather from the CPU-Z report is that it is A-Data. Is that RAM capable of running at any of the speeds listed above?

If not, I recommend purchasing new RAM that does. The faster, the better.

I may end up contacting a RAM expert and observing him work, as I am new to the RAM scene myself.

Hello, the RAM sticks are A Data Premier Series DDR3 240pin Unbuffered-DIMM Non-ECC Memory. Apparently the RAM is supposed to run at 1333mhz but even when I removed 2 of the sticks it's still running at 667mhz. How can I effectively speed up the RAM so it runs at the frequency it's supposed to?

Try setting the speed in the BIOS. See page 36: http://download.gigabyte.us/FileList/Manual/mb_manual_ga-ep45t-ud3lr_v1.1_e.pdf

Any idea why the frequency in the BIOS setup shows different than in CPU-Z? No matter what value I put into BIOS it comes out with 667 Mhz frequency in CPU-Z.

Hello,

DDR stands for Double Data Rate, 667MHz X 2 = 1334MHz, So yours is running at the 1333MHz setting.

Can you take a snip of the CPUZ, CPU, Memory, SPD and Mainboard tabs, post here.
This will make it much easier to use as a quick reference for anyone that is trying to help.

For snipping tool, start button> in the search box type 'Snipping tool' >enter.
Select the area you want to copy, save to a convient place.

If you don't have your motherboard manual, D/L here GA-EP45T-UD3LR, you will need it for reference.
What revision is your motherboard?
Look at the bottom left corner of your motherboard, it will say rev.1.0 or 1.1 or 1.3.
Pg 3 of your manual.

Your BIOS version is F5, the latest version on your motherboard site is F10.
F7 is an enhanced memory compatibility update.
Let's try to get the RAM stable before we look at updating the BIOS.
We may need to come back to this.

Check your PSU, unfortunately the only way to get this info is to open the case and look for information on the PSU. If you can't see it, you may have to take it out and check the bottom. Be sure to first turn off your computer and unplug it from power.

Go into your BIOS and check the voltage settings for:
DRAM Voltage
Press 'Del' key at bootup to enter BIOS, Manual pg 34, Select 'MB Intelligent Tweaker(M.I.T.)', at the bottom of the page.

MCH Core
Same place above the DRAM Voltage.

Let us know these voltages.

With this basic information known, we can do a few adjustments and get your RAM stable.
