BSOD while playing games

Hi, Good day.

I was playing different games such as FF12 through PCSX2, League of Legends, and Rohan Online when my computer restarted. It happened before though not frequent. But last week and today I've encountered it again. It occurs randomly when I'm playing most of the time when I'm playing full screen. After reboot there's a message that the windows recovered unexpectedly then the problem says bluescreen though I didn't really saw any bluescreen.

Here are the things that I did to solve the problem:

- Reinstalled windows, changed it from ultimate to home basic
- memtest (no errors)
- updated nvidia driver to latest (blue screen still occurred, so I've decided to change it back to the old version where I encounter the problem less) I used driver sweeper.
- Burn test gpu and cpu, It didn't occur.

Can anyone kindly point me to the right direction?

Processor: Intel® Core™ i3-2100 CPU @ 3.10GHz 7.1 5.5
Memory: (RAM) 4.00 GB
Graphics: Palit GT 220 1gb
System type: Windows 7 Home Basic 64-bit operating system

Thank you in anticipation of your response.

Does your motherboard have an onboard VGA slot? Did you connect your pc there and seen if it crashes?

Yes but they may not look as good as they do with the graphic card

Tell me if this is a new computer? Is it under it's warranty?

Hi, I can't test it using the onboard vga since I can't play all the games that I used to play. there are errors such as shader model, my graphic card doesn't support etc etc..

EDIT: I switched it back to pci express.

20th centuryboy, you need to update the Graphics Media Accelerator for onboard graphics to enhance the texture sizes etc during gameplay.

Click on start button. Type dxdiag in the search bar, and click the resulting link. The DirectX diagnostics window will come up. Click on the display tab, see what is stated against "Chip Type". Download it and install it. If yours a intel motherboard, you will get in in Intel Download Center.

But, our main concern is to see if it crashes in onboard graphics or not. If not, the graphics card is the culprit there, for sure.

Let us know it, if it crashes on onboard graphics too, or not.
