bsod while playing minecraft, error 0x0000007E

my brother was playing minecraft and skyping when all of a sudden he got a bsod and the computer started to make low ratling noises like one of the fans was spinning against something. I`ve looked inside but it doesn`t seem to have any broken or damaged fans. I`ve written down the code (0x0000007E) that was after the words "stop".

The components are about 2 years old, except the GPU that is only one year of age.

OS is windows 7 ultimate x64 that I have installed myself
