Hi, I've posted here before about almost the same problem with a different twist this time. I've been getting these BSODs for page fault and IRQL errors. I've tried a lot of things. I first replaced my RAM back in 2011, then fresh installed my windows and did all sorts of driver cleans. Now I've gone as far as replacing the GPU. I was using an nvidia GTX 460 se and I thought because of the irql and memory errors it could be something with my GPU. I bought a gtx 560 ti today and brought it home. Started up, played some games no problem. Then in the middle of a LoL match I got it again. I'm thinking it is something with my motherboard and I'm wondering if someone could give some input on what you think it may be.

The bugcheck was: 0x00000050 (0xffffea80094fa288, 0x0000000000000000, 0xfffff8800442a20d, 0x0000000000000007).

My specs are:
Biostar a880g+ mobo
AMD Phenom II x4 945
AMD Entertainment edition RAM 2x4gb
Nvidia GTX 560 ti
2 7200RPM HDD's
600 watt logisys PSU.

Thanks in advance!

Just an update. Just got another bsod while playing CS:S. This one was different. It's a 0x0000024 stop message this time. I'm going to replace the PSU tonight as well.

Could you please upload the latest crash dump, however, from what you have said about the Stop 0x24 bug check, could follow the steps listed:

STOP 0x00000024: NTFS_FILE_SYSTEM

Code:
Usual causes: Disk corruption, insufficient physical memory, Device driver, Indexing, Resident antivirus, backup, defrag programs, Disk/Drive failing/failure

Hard-Drive Diagnosis:
Please upload a screenshot of the Crystal Disk Info output:

Okay, I've pulled up the chrystal disk info and it says that there's a caution falg being thrown. The new dump is also in there. I've hit a BSOD or two since the x24 one, so if there's a certain way you need me to grab just that one let me know.

I just ran the seaTools and my HDD failed the shortDST test. The primary one that is. Should I go ahead and replace it? If that's the cause, then it would be an easy easy fix.

Having a look at the BSODs now, and I would recommend creating a backup of all your important files and then moving these onto a USB stick or External hard-drive.

Should I move everything to my secondary drive? Then remove the first drive and make the secondary my new primary?

Click on the "caution" button, post the screenshot of the output.

I went back in to the program and now the caution button just says good.
If it changed back I'll let you know.
Like i said, seatools says it failed the short DST so if it's just a problem with the drive I can fix that in no time.

I only see the dumps from yesterday

I haven't gotten a BSOD since yesterday because I'm not playing games in this computer. Last night was my last BSOD and then I just went to bed.

You could move it onto the secondary drive, and have you ran the Windows Disk Check program yet?

From what I see, seems to be like a failing hard-drive with some bad sectors.

Yes, and the dskchk has returned no errors at all, but both of these programs seem to thing otherwise. I mean, this would make sense though right, because when I'm in game the HDD is under more stress and that could cause it to fail, correct?

I don't think it is a virus problem, because I have formatted twice since this problem started. I'm 99% convinced it's hardware failure of some sort.

There may be huge difference between your thinking and the reality.

I guess that you know what type of a virus resides in the BIOS, and why they will not go from there despite of numbers of formatting. And, you also should have thought why I have suggested only two scanners, despite of anything else.

So if it's a bios virus, how do I get rid of it? I feel windows defender wouldn't do the trick...

Care to follow this post for one time?

The computer is your, decision is also your. I am suggesting as you asked for it. If it get back to normal condition, I will not gain anything, if it will stay in the state as it is, I will not loss anything. I just can say you that I experienced it in many a threads, and as a member of sevenforums, I supplied the best possible solution according to my knowledge.

Rest is on you :)
