Solved BSOD while running utorrent.

Alright, I will do it at the weekend and I will only install uTorrent to start with, if I get another BSOD. It's really wierd. Today I had only 1 active download. And it downloaded 7 GB and worked for 12h without a BSOD, plus a 400 MB download that I added about half way through. So maybe the System File Checker help somehow. I will add 10 large downloads and let uTorrent work for a few days. If I get another BSOD I will do the clean install at the weekend. I'll let you know how it turns out. And thank you for your time and help!

I have had SFC say it found no integrity violations and actually make corrections to my system, so it is possible it did work without notifying you. In my case, it was just that I had some corrupted restore points it removed, but who knows why it did not tell me it corrected any problems.

Sadly it did not help. Still got the BSOD when I added more downloads. I guess the network drivers can't handle large traffic or something. I'll do the clean installation of windows tomorrow.

The clean installation of Windows is done and seems that the problem is solved, but it's still to early to tell. uTorrent has been running for a few hours with 8 large downloads and no BSOD yet (before, with this sort of traffic, the BSOD-s came almost instantly or at least within an hour). I'll let the program run for 24 hours and then report back.

Also I haven't installed any drivers, programs or updates yet(only mozilla, utorrent and ventrilo).

Alright. Install drivers, programs, and updates one at a time (I know this will be tedious) if you want to determine which is the cause. Alternatively, you could make a system image of your current setup with

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/73828-imaging-free-macrium.html

or

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/663-backup-complete-computer-create-image-backup.html?ltr=B

and install everything at once, then go back if you need to and install one at a time the software/drivers/updates that you think may be responsible.

The problem seems to be solved. uTorrent has been running for more then 16 hours now, with high traffic. Also I've installed all the programs, games and drivers I had when I got the BSOD-s. The only thing that I haven't installed are windows updates. If I ever find out what update actually caused it, I will post it here.

Thank you for your time and help!

You're welcome. Let us know whether you have problems after the updates or not. If it stays stable after updates, you may mark the thread solved. :)

I also recommend making a system image once everything is running as you like it so if you have any problems in the future, you have a good point to go back to.

Just to let you know, I finally figured out what caused it. It was an optional update that updated my network driver and since the latest network drivers are buggy, it caused the BSODs.

Thank you for posting back what resolved it. Glad you were able to track it down. Those types of driver problems are rare and often very difficult to find due to their rarity. Well done!

BSOD while downloading through utorrent

I have been facing this particular problem since a couple of days.
Whenever I try to download something using utorrent client, BSOD occurs
I am unable to help myself out thus seeking some expert help.
I ain't a real tech geek guy,so it would be great if my help is answered in a simple and easy language.
I have tried unistalling, reinstalling, tried other clients.
But the problem still persists.
These are written on the bluescreen like"IRQl_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" and "NETIOS.SYS"
I am attaching files regarding my computer information, dmp log of the latest two dumps,an app crash dmp file which I guess is made when BSOD occurs.View attachment 399239

I am attaching links to my latest two dmp files since I am unable to attach due to the size limitation.

Assisstance would be tremendously appreciated and thanked.
If any more information needed, please let me know.

The first problem you have is a Asus COA key used on a aftermarket Intel motherboard.

From you posted log.

Product ID: 00426-OEM-8992662-00173
Original Install Date: 03-06-2017, 00:00:13
System Boot Time: 07-06-2017, 00:23:06
System Manufacturer: INTEL_
System Model: DH61WW__
System Type: x64-based PC
Processor(s): 1 Processor(s) Installed.
[01]: Intel64 Family 6 Model 58 Stepping 9 GenuineIntel ~2280 Mhz
BIOS Version: Intel Corp. BEH6110H.86A.0109.2012.1221.1455, 21-12-2012

You are using this.

***Win 7,Ultimate,Asus,XXXXX-OEM-8992662-00173***

That makes your install of Windows 7 counterfeit.

Easy problem to solve. By a proper Windows 7 with the proper matching COA key and do a Clean Install.
Once that is done, activate your system and complete all the needed Windows 7 Updates.

Then see if you still have problems and let us know.
