Solved BSOD while streaming Videos or Playing Smite beta

I purchased my Laptop over 2 years ago from ibuypower and recently have been experiencing a large number of crashes
overheating problems and
battery no longer works.
I'm rather a nub when it comes to finding and fixing issues so i hope you can help.

There's no BSOD files within the attachment, make sure you have configured Windows to save the .dmp files upon BSOD crash:

Probably caused by : [COLOR="red"]ntkrnlmp.exe[/COLOR] ( nt!KiInsertQueue+29f )

Usual causes:  Kernel mode driver, System Service, BIOS, Windows, Virus scanner, Backup tool, compatibility

Install Service Pack 1:

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 	6.1.7600 Build 7600

• Learn how to install Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1)

Service Pack 1 is packaged with many security and stablity updates, and therefore not having Service Pack 1 installed on your system, may mean that you are far more vulnerable to crashes and malware attacks.

Install and carry out full scans with:

• Microsoft Security Essentials - Microsoft Windows
• Malwarebytes : Free anti-malware download
• Anti-rootkit utility TDSSKiller

:info: Remember to install the free version of Malwarebytes not the free trail; untick the free trail box during installation.

What anti-virus program are you using currently?

Update Realtek RTL8191SE Wireless LAN 802.11n PCI-E NIC:

c:\windows\system32\drivers\rtl8192se.sys  [COLOR="red"][COLOR="red"]4/1/2010 [/COLOR]10:13 AM[/COLOR]

The driver is rather old, and newer versions are available from Realtek; second option is the closest I could find to your driver:

• Realtek

Scan with System File Checker at boot, which is a in-built Windows utility which will scan protected corrupted or missing Windows files, and will attempt to repair them automatically if possible:

Okay, I currently use Microsoft Windows Essentials Full Scan once a week update 2-3times a week

Windows Service Pack 1, is unable to install Error Code: 800B0100

I'm installing System Update Readiness Tool in hopes it solves problems with my Windows Update. (This isn't the only program that has much trouble installing)

While the Readiness tool was trying to fix errors and i recieved this BSOD

Okay only problem is that Windows Update

Posted in the Update Forums with Windows Error codes and my CBS file
guess ill take it from there.

What did the Malwarebytes found? I can't open the file for some reason :huh:

It is best to get Service Pack 1 installed, and then all the other Important and Optional Windows Updates, there has been quite a few security and other stablity updates released since Service Pack 1.

You could try resetting Windows Update:

There are a few people specialize in Windows Update in the forums so you have no trouble getting Service Pack 1 installed

Malwarebytes found these 2 files
C:\Users\Maxx\Downloads\DriverPerformerSetup.exe (PUP.BundleInstaller.IB) -> Quarantined and deleted successfully.
C:\Users\Maxx\Downloads\Setup.exe (PUP.Bundle.Installer.OI) -> Quarantined and deleted successfully.

Same Error Code, Was good advice but had no effect (Restarting Windows Update)
