Hello BL0ODSUGAR, we need thr MSINFO32 file, too.
► upload your MSINFO32.nfo file.

  1. Click on the start button
  2. Type "msinfo32" (without quotes) in the search bar of the start menu, click the resulting link. It will open the System Information window.
  3. File>Save. In the "File Name" filed, put "MSINFO32" (without Quote), give the save location to desktop, and click the "save" button.
  4. Give the time for processing, it will save a .nfo file on your desktop.
  5. Zip it, and upload it following the instruction.
Try to update ATI display driver, though it is of September, reasonably new.
Code:
fffff880`0e80f1d8 fffff880`070e29e9Unable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\atikmpag.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for atikmpag.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for atikmpag.sys
 atikmpag+0x329e9
Search it in AMD Graphics Drivers & Software.

Scan the system for possible virus infection.

Get rid of Asmedia 106x SATA Host Controller Driver.
Code:
fffff880`0e80e5b8 fffff880`00c57b34Unable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\asahci64.sys, Win32 error 0n2

It is crashing, and it is not anything very required.

  1. Right click on "my computer" icon and click "manage" on the context menu.
  2. It will open the "computer management" window.
  3. Select "Device Manager" in the left pane, It will list all the existing devices up.
  4. Expand "Disc Drives" by clicking on the triangle in front of it.
  5. Select one item under it, right click, uninstall.
  6. Continue the process for all items under "Disc Drives"
  7. Now restart the computer. At restart, windows will auto configure the appropriate system driver, msahci.sys.
Use Microsoft Security Essentials.
Uninstall Avast using Avast Uninstall Utility. Use Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus with windows inbuilt firewall, and free MBAM as the on Demand scanner.

Download and install those, and then run full system scans with both of them, one by one.

Let us know the results.

Ok went to AMD and downloaded some stuff. Been told by a lot of people to go to MSE so now i have.

The instructions you gave for Get rid of Asmedia 106x SATA Host Controller Driver doesn't sound right. As the ASmedia isnt under Disk drives.

Here's A picture of device Manager

And here is the MSINFO file.

Thanks
chris

Hmm ... I see that my assumption was wrong here. Anyway, form the dumps, what I got is the Asmedia 106x SATA Host Controller Driver is contributing in the crash.

How is the computer working now?

Seems to be fixed after updating the AMD drivers.
I can now complete a Rating of my systems performance thingy. Haven't tried starting Battlefield 3 yet.

But it would also Crash after shutting down and saying no signal detected then reboot with into BSOD.

That was the only things i found would cause the crashes.

so should i uninstall the Asmedia 106x SATA Host Controller Driver under the IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers?

thanks
chris

WELL.Cant be that. must be 12.10 and 12.11 crashing..
i went and house sat for a mate from the 23rd to the 29th of October. No one used my computer as everyone else has there own. Plus Password protected. and when i got back the BSODs started..

cant remember doing the update to 12.10 when i got back but i may have. just forgotten.

just got back from watching a movie and left PC on downloading some steam games. come back to the paused windows LOGO screen which is what happens after a BSOD.

should i just try the one before 12.10 and not update at this time?

Try it, good plan definitely.

Stress test the Graphics Card using Furmark. If it error is with the card itself.
Video Card - Stress Test with Furmark

Clean inside the computer. Make it sure that there is no accumulated dust.

Monitor the system heat, and the heat of the card itself. Use Speccy for it.

And upload the last dump, too.
