Hello all,

I built my new computer about a week ago and now i seem to be having some trouble. It started while i was playing league of legends and my screen went black but my tower was still on. I tried shutting down the tower holding the power button but nothing happened so i had to unplug it from the wall. While trying to fix this error today i have had two BSODs both from event 1001 bugchecking. I uploaded the dump files with this post so if anyone can help me out id really appreciate it. And if anyone knows anything about the other problem that'd be a great help as well.

My system specs:

AMD Phenom II x6 1100T
visiontek radeon 6850
black widow 850w psu
2x 4gigs DDR3 corsair
MSI 870A fuzion power edition mobo

Please be patient yuskey, the BSOD thread is one of the most time consuming threads and the few experts here are always busy but will get to you eventually, in the mean time, have you tried running memtest86+ Memtest86.com - Memory Diagnostic you will need a blank disk or bootable USB drive to run the test. It is recommended you run 7 passes which will take a couple of hours.

I ran the memetest and it didnt get past 19% in pass one and it froze, should i have been running it with each stick at a time? Does it matter?

So ran memtest86 and found that one of my cards seems to only work on the first slot while the other card works on all three. Is the one card malfunctioning in some way? if so would this be a cause for my problems?

If your getting a ram stick producing errors on its own with memtest in any slot then retest all of your ram sticks one at a time in each slot to determine if its the ram stick at fault or the slot ?

That's what I did, all the slots worked for the first ram card but the second ram card only worked in one of the 4 slots. There is no error that appears on the screen memtest just freezes and i need to reboot the computer

I would conclude the second stick that freezes memtest is faulty and to prove this I would install just the good ram stick and monitor for crashes in windows normal use ;)

If it works without crashes I would RMA the faulty ram stick or if they are supposed to be a matched pair then RMA them both :geek:
