I installed xp trying to do a dualboot configuration.
Now just xp boots.
So I tried using Acronis os selector, windows 7 still does not show.
So I tried repairing as I've done in the past with the install disk only getting a BSOD

Thanks no bsod
so now I am getting :This version os System recovery options is not compatible with the version of windows you are trying to repair. Try using a Recovery discount that is compatible with the versión or Windows.
I have tried different discs and all the same except for one windows 7 Ultimate disc, it does not give me option to repair after the agreement just goes straight to show me the the disc I want to install

Thanks so much for your help I have now gotten it to boot but it will only boot successfuly in safemode.
Otherwise it boots then fails to a Bluescreen I have removed apps restored a backed up image of my system and still cannot get it to boot normally also ran spybot and nod32 made sure no viruses are causing this.
Any ideas?
TX again!

Thanks again I found the culprit seems I missed a logitech mic that was connected (usb)
I have 2 pcs running on one monitor via Kvm and plenty of cables I don't know how I missed but I did but finally my main system is back and I don't have to reinstall.
What a relief!
Thanks again!
