Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit. Bought as a student upgrade edition online. The computer is mostly new.
I put it together myself and it hasn't had any problems until now. I had League of Legends up in the background, and I was surfing on Firefox when my mouse cursor...changed. It looks glitchy, becoming white/multicolored lines and looking fuzzy. I know that isn't right, so I immediately restarted my computer. After a few minutes it BSOD'ed, and now I am officially worried.

Thanks in advance for any help.

The crash was blamed on Lachesis.sys, your mouse driver. Your driver may have become corrupted. Update the driver, and if it is already at the latest update, uninstall and re-install the driver using http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/43216-installing-updating-drivers-7-a.html as a reference.

To fully re-install the mouse driver, use the following steps.
  1. Click Start Menu
  2. Right Click My Computer/Computer
  3. Click Manage
  4. Click Device Manager from the list on the left
  5. Expand Mice and other pointing devices
  6. Right click the device
  7. Click Uninstall (do not click OK in the dialog box that pops up after hitting Uninstall)
  8. Put a tick in Delete driver software for this device (if this option is available, otherwise just hit OK) and hit OK
  9. Restart your computer
  10. Install the latest driver for the device once Windows starts.

Alternatively:
  1. Login as an adminstrative user.
  2. Click Start Menu
  3. Click Control Panel
  4. Click Hardware and Sound
  5. Click Device Manager (the last link under Devices and Printers)
  6. Expand Mice and other pointing devices
  7. Right click the device
  8. Click Uninstall (do not click OK in the dialog box that pops up after hitting Uninstall)
  9. Put a tick in Delete driver software for this device (if this option is available, otherwise just hit OK) and hit OK
  10. Restart your computer
  11. Install the latest driver for the device once Windows starts.

You should also update your SaiK0728.sys driver.

I also note Daemon Tools is installed on your computer. Please remove Daemon Tools, as it uses a driver called dtsoftbus01.sys that is known to cause BSODs.

I prefer TotalMounter as my CD/DVD virtualization software as it allows me to burn images to a virtual CD/DVD if I just want an ISO file instead of a disc, and it is free.

Many use MagicISO - Convert BIN to ISO, Create, Edit, Burn, Extract ISO file, ISO/BIN converter/extractor/editor as well, which is also free.

Thanks! I uninstalled the drivers, then restarted and reinstalled. It hasn't had any problems since. I'll post again if anything happens, but in the mean time thanks!
