Hi there hope someone can help me with this, I have been getting BSOD while using FSX online with vatsim recently. Early July I bought a new CPU i7 4790k and motherboard Asus H81-Gamer. Since then I've been getting BSOD using FSX at random times but seems to only happen when Im flying online using vatsim. I thought the problem might have been RAM so I replaced them with RAM from my boards recommended list but still have the same problem. I have tried different graphics drivers too for my HD6870 with no luck and tried driver verifier which didn't give me a BSOD. I have updated all my drivers to the latest but still no fix. I also did a repair install of W7 which didn't help either. I'll attach my .zip file for someone to have a look.

Regards

Brian

Code:
SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (3b)
An exception happened while executing a system service routine.
Arguments:
Arg1: 00000000c0000005, Exception code that caused the bugcheck
Arg2: fffff8800f0dc83a, Address of the instruction which caused the bugcheck
Arg3: fffff880087389b0, Address of the context record for the exception that caused the bugcheck
Arg4: 0000000000000000, zero.
as you can see above, this was a SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION,

Code:
SYMBOL_STACK_INDEX: 0

SYMBOL_NAME: atikmdag+c183a

FOLLOWUP_NAME: MachineOwner

MODULE_NAME: atikmdag

IMAGE_NAME: [COLOR="Red"]atikmdag.sys[/COLOR]

FAILURE_BUCKET_ID: X64_0x3B_atikmdag+c183a

BUCKET_ID: X64_0x3B_atikmdag+c183a
here we can see that it is atikmdag.sys which is your graphics driver,

here are the causes of the error from above according to BSOD Index:
Usual causes: System service, Device driver, graphics driver, ?memory
so it is clearly your graphics driver. first, check to see if your drivers are up-to-date.

Back again with another BSOD, since my last BSOD I have replaced my AMD HD6870 card with a Nvidia GTX960. This is my first one with the new graphics card installed.

this time it was your Intel(R) USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller Driver, update it here and see if that helps:
