I have two of these csrss.exe running on my machine, could one of them be a malware exe, although the malwarebyte didn't detect it? I can't see how this problem could have anything to do with sptd..

If you don't answer any of my questions, then your help isn't worth much.. Then I would prefer that you don't help me at all.

No I haven't had any more BSODs after removing sptd.sys,, I. think it's so annoying to uninstall this feature, but that's obviously needed.,

Hi Samuel, Sounds like you are mad at me buddy...Sorry for leaving your case for too long..I live in vietnam, 12 hours different from United States and it's possible that by the time I go to forum, I would not see your post in the list of new thread-->just keep asking me so that I can see your post please...

U see, removing sptd.sys solved the problem...now if you want the reason..I can tell you that it is well known for causing BSODs, and as you had BSODs, I had to give you things so that you can try to get rid of BSODs.

Now, if you would like a program that doesn't have that BSOD, I can suggest you this program. I haven't seen it causing BSODs so far

Okay, I understand,, my fault Tuan, but you know what? I've had a BSOD again, so nothing to do with sptd.sys this time:D This time I heard some music in media player (not from a cd, but internal disc) while I transfered data between two external usb drives
