BSOD whilst watching Videos and playing World of Warcraft

Hi there,
I would be very grateful of any help you could give me to resolve this problem. I am new to your forums but have read several replies to other peoples posts in an attempt to find a way solve my own, to no avail. (some of what you have suggested is way over my head)
For a few weeks when I shut down the PC it takes ages to shut down, or has to be manually turned off because its clear it isn't going to shut down properly on its own.
The other day my elderly neighbour who doesn't have a computer said her niece had mailed her via my computer with some information she wanted. When I opened the mail there was a .pdf file attached, which I opened, and looked at, shortly afterwards I was looking on the John Lewis website for my neighbour and my PC froze completely. The mouse wouldn't move, and I couldn't Ctrl+Alt+Del, toggle out or do anything but a hard restart. Once I had rebooted, I ran an AVG scan, and it found no threats. The PC worked fine for a few hours, and then when I ran World of Warcraft later that evening, after playing for a short while it froze again. The music still plays in the back ground, but the game froze, and again, couldn't toggle out, or Alt+f4 or Ctrl+Alt+Del. Over the next couple of days it crashed like this again around 6 or 7 times. I searched the WoW forums for anything I could do to see if it was WoW related. (a couple of days before I opened my neighbours .pdf file there was a new patch to the game, and I also had trouble installing that)
For the last two days I have been playing the game in Windowed mode, and had not crashed, so thought this had sorted the problem. Today I logged on, it crashed in Wow, and after hard restart it crashed whilst I was watching a video on the BBC News website. I have performed a Housecall virus scan, and updated AVG, and no threats have been found by either. I have checked that my Graphics drivers are up to date, which they are, apparently. I have changed various settings inside WoW's options, but obviously as it is crashing outside the game I doubt it is only this.
Since it crashed the first time like this, there was an update to Firefox, which I applied hoping that might solve it, but that hasn't helped either.

I am now completely lost as to what it might be. Or maybe it is a number of things combined. Although I have more knowledge than a basic user, I obviously have come to my limit, and so have come here in the hopes that someone could help me, please.

Welcome to the forum.

Your dump does not show any definitive cause for the BSODs you're getting.

To rule out buggy drivers lets try Driver verifier:

One Q: Do you have any codec packs installed?

Thanks for your quick reply. I have never used the above program before, but followed tutorial as directed and enabled it. As soon as I rebooted it went blue screen a few seconds after showing the desktop screen, and then rebooted itself. I let it log on to check if it would do it again and it did the exact same, blue screen and reboot. I then put it in Safe Mode and disabled the Verifier as directed. So I'm assuming its a driver problem? I have no idea what to do next I'm afraid (noob that I am).

As for codecs, I haven't installed any myself.

Keep posting the dumps that you get.

You say you have AVG.. I'd recommend you uninstall it and keep MSE.

Hope i'm uploading the right thing, I just re-ran the SF Diagnostic tool and zipped it up.

Can I ask why you prefer MSE to AVG? I've been running my computer with it for the past couple of years, and I believe I had problems with WoW conflicting with MSE previously when I first used it, and so uninstalled it.

So long as my computer works properly and allows me to play my games, surf the net etc etc I'm happy, I use it every day for (alot of) hours as I am retired from work on ill health grounds, so I really cant be without it.

For a trial can you try disabling Live Drive?

-- Go a head and disable Verifier, that didn't give any sign of driver blamed etc.

Combining your crash dumps and the general view of BSODs culprits, I'd suggest you to have a look at your memory, the sticks. Through decades people have been using the bootable tool called Memtest86+ and it's basically very unique in these manners.
:info: Be sure to check your warranty rules and regulations before opening your case.

* Memtest86+ is USB-ready, and can be booted directly from it. Download the flashdrive wizard.
* To ensure that either your sticks OR your motherboard slots are broken, it's necessary to do the below procedure-
* Pull out all sticks except ONE, scan it.
* If no errors, pull the scanned stick into another slot.
* Proceed like this until you've scanned all sticks individually, and all the slots.​

Can I ask why you prefer MSE to AVG?

Good question. The last thing we want to do is to ask people to uninstall their antivirus' upon different circumstances. May I ask you if your AVG is paid? If that's the case, I'd keep the antivirus for now. If you're looking for a free antivirus, we'd recommend installing Microsoft Security Essentials as it's made by Microsoft and it's a trusted product among us. If you desire to use it, enable Windows Firewall along it.
Again, if you're subscribing to AVG and has actual paid for it, keep it. It doesn't give any sign of errors therefore we'll leave it for now. Rule number one is to run ONE antivirus at a time.

With that said... SFC /scannow

.. We usually ask people to do this command to check if Windows is corrupted. It's the most common used one to check if the Windows files are corrupted. If it'll find errors, it'll restore them.

   Tip

If you're having a custom customization layer on your Aero, it's likely to get restored to default.

Press Start | search 'cmd' | Right-click it
| open as Admin | type SFC /SCANNOW

Ok, so far...
I've run Speccy and updated my system info as much as I can. Both my CPU and Graphics temperatures are shooting up by at least 10 degrees when I log into WoW. At one point the CPU temp was around 61 degrees, when it seems to be around 47 when not in-game. It hasnt crashed whilst watching videos (I've been watching/listening to YouTube all evening)

These are the temperatures I took off Speccy:

cpu (idle) - 46 (before crash) - 52
mboard (idle) - 31 (before crash) - 37
gfx (idle) - 51 (before crash) - 67
hdd 1 (idle) - 46 (before crash) - 47
hdd 2 (idle) - 42 (before crash) - 42

I have now un-installed Livedrive - I don't really use it anyway.
I had to disable Verifier anyway as my PC was continuously rebooting itself with a BSOD each time I logged on while it was active. I really don't have enough knowledge to open the case and take out Memory sticks. I cant even lift my PC it is so heavy! It's no longer under warranty, but I was kinda hoping not to have to resort to anything so serious as removing parts of it, and potentially killing it (any more than it is already)

I will test it further tomorrow to see if removing LiveDrive has helped, I havent run the SFC /scannow option yet, because if it is going to restore things back to factory settings I'll need to back up docs etc on my PC first. I'll post again tomorrow or at next crash if sooner!

As of yet I havent had any more crashes, just thought I would post to say thanks for your help and advice. If I get any further problems I will definitely visit the forum again as it was very helpful.

I dont know whether I should post here again, or make a new thread?

After not crashing for over a week, I have had my PC on for about 2 hours today, it has been fine just watching videos, and surfing. I logged on to World of Warcraft and within 2 or 3 minutes it crashed. The music still plays, but mouse freezes, and I had to do a hard reboot. I did have an update to AVG earlier which was an automatic update,
it asked me to restart (which I postponed) so i'm not sure whether this caused a problem.

I would be grateful for any help,
