BSOD, Windows 7 New Install - WinDbg says ntoskrnl.exe

Hi,

I have had a BSOD twice now over the last 2 days. Both times analysis of minidump file says that probable cause is ntoskrnl.exe.

I have run your diagnostic tool and have attached the output.

Any help here would be much appreciated.

I am sure the attached files give you the following information, however just in case, the description of the problem stated when windows reboots is :

from some of the research i have done; it appears that the error is pointing to not enough ram and/or possible bad ram. I would do a memory test using memtest86+ and scan the memory for one or more possible bad modules.

I have run the Windows 7 Memory Diagnostic tool : mdsched.exe.

No errors were found.

Does the attached output from the SF_Diagnostic tool shed any light on what's happenning?

You must use MemTest86+ as recommended.....it is far superior to the Windows memory diagnostic.

Run it for s minimum of 8 passes.

It's running now. It's completed 1 pass with no errors. I have attached a screenshot. It will take a long time for 8 passes as there is 64GB RAM. Been 6 hrs already.

You can stop the test now. You now need to find if its one of the RAM chips, or one of the RAM slots on the motherboard.

To do this, repeat the test using a single RAM chip in RAM slot 1 of the motherboard. If it passes 8 tests, move that same chip to slot 2 and repeat until all slots have been checked. If it passes in all slots you know that RAM chip is good and all the slots are good.

Now test the remaining RAM chips one at a time, in slot 1 only, until you find the defective RAM chip.

I know it will take a long time but there is no other way unfortunately.
