I have a dual boot windows 7/linux (xubuntu) HP laptop, but BSOD on windows start up. I can access windows drive through linux fine.

Windows recovery environment hasn't been able to help yet, memory is fine. For some reason I can boot linux .iso's like grub off the usb but not windows or windows repair.

Boot Repair log attached.

Any helps would be extraordinarily appreciated.

No, that is the blue screen. The dump files are located C:/windows/Minidump.
Can you get into safe mode?

Unfortunately I can't get into safe mode, nor anywhere else in windows a the moment.

When i boot a USB repair disk made in YUMI windows it says ndtlr error. WhEN I MAKE IT IN UNBOOTIN in Linux it doesn't work either.

I can access the minidump folder in windows but there are no recent memory dumps, I can't even get into command promp in windows to program a memory dump.

I've tried bluescreenview idea via the hiren USB ISO, for some reason some program's show up but not bluescreenview.

Much Thanks

Thanks for all the responses.

I've tried to do a full reinstall of windows 7 now. I'm getting the error message 'can't configure windows to this hardware' and followed microsofts advice by getting the panther/setuppact.log

here are some of the error messages:

The last one has many similar errors...

I tried to 'load drivers' to install the intel RAID but i think i need to unzip it. I dont know much about formatting, got the feeling i half to do a clean reinstall of all partitions :/

Right, I'm not quite sure what you're trying to do. If you are trying to wipe your HDD clean to re-install windows brand new again then you should insert the installation CD or flash drive with windows on it, then you go through the installation process until you get to the option where you choose between express or custom installation. You choose custom then click on your primary partition and format it. You then install windows to that partition.

That's exactly what I've done (except using USB because im on an ultrabook) but its giving me the 'windows cant configure to this hardware' error as mentioned below.

Hmm. I've never encountered or even heard of such an error. Was your previous windows already installed?
