Reading your post on bsod while using your browser , i can relate to what is happening to your computer i also have the nvidia geforce 6200 installed on a dell dimension 2400 i am using it for basic computer use, hell its 11 years old not good for much else.but your problem lies with the video driver used with the geforce 6200.first make sure you uninstall the onboard video drivers and also disable the hardware as well, then install the nvidia driver 7.15.11.7824,it is a vista 32bit driver, but it is the only driver that has made my geforce 6200 stable after trying every driver available on the nvidia website.i was having the same problems you were now they are gone.you should be able to google the driver number and download the file from there, good luck by the way dont buy geforce 6200 again .......it is junk

thank you,
your solution may be worth a try, but i think my problem(s) goes deeper than that.
I think it's best to wait for my dm log to be reviewed and then take a more systematic approach

i still believe the problem lies with your video card ,the geforce 6200 is an old orphaned nvidia video card with a history of issues.google the card and you will see.test my theory by removing the card and enabling the onboard video if available.if the computer doesnt crash the 6200 is the problem.or you can test by using another video card if available.

Right, we got there. Unfortunately it shows your installation is counterfeit as you have an ACER PID on a retail MSI motherboard.

Counterfeit installations such as yours can contain heavily modified code that can cause the installation to behave in unexpected ways. Analysing BSODs and determining their causes on these sorts of installations is completely unreliable, and for this reason most analysts won't attempt it.

My recommendation is to install a genuine copy of Windows 7. This will minimise the problems you are experiencing and make subsequent diagnosis of BSODs far more reliable. Once you are running a genuine Windows 7 installation and are still experiencing BSODs, upload your new logs we will be happy to help you solve them.
