Solved BSOD with BUGCODE_USB_DRIVER

Hi Guys, please help

BSOD with BUGCODE_USB_DRIVER
STOP: 0X000000FE (0X00000005, 0X8720D0E0, 0X80863A3A, 0X870CC7E4)

Hi my PC would not boot up this morning but I was able to start it in safe mode. When the internet connection did not work I unplugged and replugged the Inventel WiFi receiver, soon after which I got the BSOD described above.

Since then the PC will come on pressing the button but nothing happens thereafter, I cannot hear the fan coming on, the hard disk spinning or its indicator light coming on. Looking in I can see that the LED on the motherboard is green.

I tried booting with the windows 7 DVD but nothing happens.

Please help, this is my daughter's PC who is preparing for her GCSEs!!

Can you boot into safe mode (F8)?
