BSOD with games

I have had many games crashing and BSOD crash and restarts since I did a clean install of a retail copy of Windows 7 Home Premium x64 edition last July that replaced a retail copy of Vista 64. This crashing seems to be related to one or both of the graphics cards overheating at around room temperature of 72 to 75 degrees but I am not sure. The fan speeds for each graphics card has been set to 50% in the CCC. In addition, I am not sure if this is a power issue or not because this system has two drives and a 1.2kw power supply and the only other thing connected to the power strip is a 30” monitor that usually pulls only 54watts. I built this system in Sept 2008. I have an antivirus program even though one of the attached error reports said I did not. I have not overclocked this system.
Do any of these optional Windows 7 updates fix problems with games crashing?

The html error file shows the ACPI ATK0110 as a device driver not installed because it seemed to be causing sound problems and conflicts with my Sound Blaster and the motherboard’s onboard sound so I uninstalled it by reinstalling Windows 7 again. This does show in device manager with a yellow explanation mark.
Why is the keyboard showing as an error and I have a plug and play Saitek keyboard?

The enclosed crashes were caused by your video driver in conjuction with Symantec.

I would re-install the graphic driver as indicated and remove symantec and replace with Microsoft security essentials

When upgrading your graphic driver you MUST remove all traces of the current driver. In order to do that we recommend using Guru3D - Driver Sweeper

When it is removed then download and install the fresh copy.

Do not update the graphics driver from Windows Update. I recommend that you read the above post.

I read here MSE does not clean malware very well.

In addition, it looks like it does not have a silent mode so it will crash games with notifications.

Any other suggestions for an antivirus program?

MSE does clean malware fine.

Avast AntiVirus cleans malware fine too and has silent mode for gaming.

I used the Norton tool to remove Norton and got a new antivirus program then reinstalled the ati drivers.

Then I was playing Starcraft 2 challenge mission: opening gambit yesterday and the screen froze and then turned black so I had to manually reboot.

Today when I was playing the same mission in Starcraft 2 the screen went black again, the PC rebooted automatically, and I got a windows error message. Room temperature was about 74 to 75 degrees F in both cases. I ran GPU-Z and it looks like both graphics cards are running around 73 to 77 degrees F with the fan speeds at 50%

Can you check my new attached Windows error log again to see if there were any more software conflicts again?

I had another BOSD today with StarCraft 2. This time in multiplayer. I have been playing SC2 for weeks now without BOSD but it was always when the room temperature was less than 73 degrees. Today it was about 73.8 degrees.

It seemed before that the 4870 cards were over heating but I get the following message in the boot screens before the start windows normally prompt:

Could this mean that one of the hard drives is overheating and causing the BSOD or is about to fail?

My system crashed again today and when I reinstalled the ATI drivers I was using CCleaner to remove the ATI registry entries and found registry entries by Symantec so maybe this will stop the crashes.

As it turns out it may have been one of the radeon hd 4870x2 cards because found out by switching it out with another card the lower graphics hardware part died so it may have been causing all the other problems too.
