This has happened around 3 times in the past week, and each time it has been while i was on facebook (no idea if that is relevant). Has never happened whilst gaming or anything else.

happened again today first time in a week, again while on facebook, bsod with 1 of the 6 cores turning off.
only ever happens while on facebook, and only once or twice a week, so weird!

any ideas?

hello i was wondering if anyone had a chance to take a look at this for me yet? as it just happened again today, at the exact moment that i hit "home" on facebook. its always on facebook when it happens and only every 4-7 days

Also, be aware that you have unlocked 2 extra cores on your CPU. The cores were locked because they were not able to perform up to standards. That's why they were not used, but you have decided to use them. So, in all honesty, that could very well be at least part of the problem. Also, if you are overclocking anything, please set everything back to default settings.

I recommend you do a clean install of the drivers. Download them from AMD.com and clean leftover drivers using this method http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/83814-drivers-clean-left-over-files-after-uninstalling.html

still doing it, again only on facebook.
i found a big thread somewhere with many many people having it happen to them too on facebook, and they found that it was java making it happen.
have reinstalled java, lets see if it does it again.

If it only happens on Facebook, it has to be something in their encoding of their web pages. It could very well be java, but it is something specific to Facebook.
