I am still having BSOD after 5-10 mins of restarting the laptop. I have just updated the latest crash dump. I desperately need this fixed, I do not want to shell out another $700 for a laptop, but I am a full time student and I need my computer to work properly! I re-installed the driver for the network adapter using the device manager, but that did not help. Also I am unable to find the proper driver from Realtek's website, there are some that look close but none that match exactly.

I am currently attempting another malware bytes system scan.

Welcome aboard.

It is crashed by Realtec PCIe NIC driver.

Update it from Realtek.

Search for any updates of the touchpad driver.
Drivers | Synaptics

The overall situation makes me feel that there might be a virus issue, or any antivirus filter program causing obstacles. Which antivirus do you use? Uninstall the existing antivirus. Use Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus with windows inbuilt firewall, and free MBAM as the on demand scanner.

Download and install those, and then run full system scans with both of them, one by one. Also. Scan the system for possible virus infection, too.

Let us know the results.

I updated the Realtek driver by downloading and installing this. I am not 100% sure that this is the correct one, but it seems to be the only one available that at least mostly matches the driver name in the BSOD message. In that vein, do I need to uninstall anything before installing this? I downloaded and installed with no errors, but I am still getting the same BSOD. I have attached to this post a current .zip of the kernel dump from a couple of minutes ago immediately following yet another crash.

EDIT: I removed the antivirus and installed MSE which did a scan and found no malware. I then did the Malwarebytes scan but I got a BSOD 1/2 way through.

The malwarebytes scan returned "no malicious items detected".

The crashes are still occurring on the same thing. Realtec PCIe NIC driver.

So I need some more info here. Please upload your MSINFO32.nfo file.

  1. Click on the start button
  2. Type "msinfo32" (without quotes) in the search bar of the start menu, click the resulting link. It will open the System Information window.
  3. File>Save. In the "File Name" filed, put "MSINFO32" (without Quote), give the save location to desktop, and click the "save" button.
  4. Give the time for processing, it will save a .nfo file on your desktop.
  5. Zip it, and upload it following the instruction.
