BSOD with online videos or windows image viewer

Hello community, you have succesfully helped me in the past.
Unfortunately i'm experiencing BSODs while playing certain videos on youtube. I couldn't say that's the cause for sure, because it wont happen everytime.

Yesterday I was viewing an image with the windows image viewer when suddenly COM Surrogate stopped working and then the screen froze and the cpu restarted
About one week ago I've got another BSOD, while navigating but I don't recall playing videos.
I updated my graphic card drivers hoping that it would solve the problem but didn't have success, today another bsod while on youtube using internet explorer, while the same video played with graphical glitches in Mozilla.

No crashes while gaming,

I suspect that is some driver issue because the BSOD repeated these pattern:
Screen freezes for a second
Screen goes black
Screen turns on , but it's still frozen
CPU Restarts

I will update TWO zip files, first analysis is from today, and the other is two years old just for comparison when things were ok

I know that there are hundres of posts similars like this one (crashes while on youtube, etcetera) but I just want to make sure that is a graphic driver related problem before I venture myself into fixing myself

Unfortunately this time around you've got a really serious error on your plate. There were 4 dump files in your upload, 1 of them pointed to a problem with the graphics card driver but 3 of them were 0x124:

If you are over-clocking anything Stop!

The Bug_Check was 124 CAUSE AuthenticAMD which generally indicates the processor, heat
sink, or the compound between them though antivirus, BIOS, chipset drivers, and other possible

The first parameter of the error is 0x0 which means the CPU has detected a hardware problem and hopefully it's just the graphics card drivers causing this, however we can't be sure of it.

Now the easiest way to deal with this problem is to install DDU:

Display Driver Uninstaller

Once installed, it is recommended to boot into Safe Mode while running it, for more information about Safe Mode, please have a look here:

And once you are in Safe Mode you can launch DDU, now you should see a window like this:

I would recommend to tick the box "Remove C:\AMD and or C:\NVIDIA folders".

Please use the highlighted method "Clean and Restart".

When that is done and you have rebooted back into Windows, please visit the AMD Support Download page located here and download the drivers for your card:

Ugh that really scared me off,
I didnt experienced anything glitchy apart of youtube videos, do you really think is that severe?

Never overclocked anything, And I clean the dust every 5 months

Hello Chris.

Well like I wrote, I do really hope that it's just the graphics card drivers going bananas but when you said you had no problems whatsoever while gaming, that is leaning towards something more problematic.

But we can't really know for sure, since those 0x124 errors mainly point to hardware related errors and there was an error with the graphics card, so hopefully that is that.

Ok, I reinstalled everything as you said, so now I just have to wait till a new BSOD reappears?

Update:
Went to Youtube, played a video, again, glitches and display turns off, but luckily windows didn't crash, maybe because I was quick to close firefox.
After that incident I turned hardware acceleration in the options of the browser, then played the same video again without any glitch nor crashes.

Could it be related or too much coincidence?
