hi all,
i have been experiencing a BSOD every time i leave utorrent to download overnight. i wake up in the morning and my system tells me that it shut down unexpectedly, and there is no improvement on my torrents. i am running avast antivirus and windows firewall, and utorrent 3.1.3.

win 7 came installed on my laptop
ive had my computer for about a month or so.
it performed a system restore once because i connected it to an external monitor while it was switched on.

the perfmon /report thing wouldnt let me click save as....what do i do?

Please remove both Avast and McAffee and replace with Microsoft Security Essentials.

i am not aware i have McAfee security insatlled? i uninstalled it when i got the laptop and installed Avast instead because it is a program i have used for years and never had a problem with on my desktop (running windows XP)

You do have McAfee, and while Avast worked well in XP on some win 7 machine it isnt stable. Thats why I recommended removing both AT LEAST TO TEST.
