Hi

My PC began having these random crashes a few months ago, but since they were rare I didn't really bother about them. The one joining factor about the crashes is that every time, the screen goes fuzzy with lots of different colors in a static-pattern before the computer shuts down. Lately the issue has gotten worse, and the issue has happened 4 times today. The crashes most often happen when I run World of Warcraft, but it has happened outside as well, so it's not the causing factor.

Thanks for any help in advance!

Hello there!

Seems like Rt64win7.sys a component of your Realtek networking drivers is causing crashes. I would recommned to reinstall it. Also aswTdi.SYS i.e. avast! Network Shield Support, I would recommend to remove Avast as well. Use the avast! Uninstall Utility | Download aswClear for avast! Removal to remove the left over files.

Update the following Drivers:

Code:

Would it be safe to reinstall Avast afterwards?

Yes it should be fine. But a new installer downloaded from their website. :)
