Solved BSOD x119 - And random monitor signal failures.

Hi everyone!

Yesterday i got my PC back from repairation due, my monitor not having signal randomly after a while of pc usage. And the computer is still runing.

Before i sent it in i tried different monitors, and i still had the same issue.
I also tried to reinstall Windows 7 but with no succes.

When it got repaired they changed my GFX Card, my Cooler and my RAM which they actually replaced with some others, which are worse, but nevermind.


So yesterday i got a BSOD with the error x119 a Kernel error or something. But it hasnt happend today after fixing up some drivers, so i think it works now.

The problem is that my computer still just randomly "disconnects" from my monitor even though the computer is still running, but it works agian after restarting.

And my GFX was laying under 40 celcius before the random disconnects happend, now its at 40+ celcius.

I just cant figure out what the problem is, i've runned a MemTest which didnt found anything.

Btw i made a mistake the bug checkcode was -
0x109 (0xA3A039D898BEF51C, 0x0, 0xFFE67FF08B7BF6C5, 0x101)

We do need the DMP file as it contains the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.

You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting into safe mode (F8) with networking.

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

The procedure:

* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
*If the files are too large please upload them to a file sharing service like "Rapidshare" and put a link to them in your reply.

To ensure minidumps are enabled:

* Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
* Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
* Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
* Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
* Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
* OK your way out.
* Reboot if changes have been made.

2 crash dumps have been found and  analyzed.

No BSOD has occured today though.

It just happend agian it was a BSOD but i didnt see the blue screen the monitor just didnt have a signal:

When i tried to start it agian, the computer was running but none of my fans were running, and nothing showed up on the screen.

A "stop 0x124" is fundamentally different to many other types of bluescreens because it stems from a hardware complaint.

Stop 0x124 minidumps contain very little practical information, and it is therefore necessary to approach the problem as a case of hardware in an unknown state of distress

Some generic advice.

If you are overclocking STOP. return to the default settings at least for now.
If you are running a RAID update its driver.

So i should basicly just try everything in the Stop 0x124 guide, and if it doesnt work i should send it back to the manufacturer?

If it is under warranty, and you can live without it I would send it back because 124's are often difficult to fix.
