BSOD Xbox 360 Madcatz Controller ?

i recently (3 days) have been having problems with my controller. i plug in the USB controller and it works fine , but i hear a plugging/unplugging a USB noise. so i usually ignore it. then, the BSOD comes up. please help me out. thanks a ton.
