  • I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
  • Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit is the original OS on the system.
  • The OS came Pre-Installed
  • The computer is about 2 months old, so is the OS installation.

I've been having this problem since day 1 of getting the pc(Which was about 2 months ago.) I checked the sticks of RAM. The RAM seemed fine and then my computer went on to blue screen every time I booted normally into the desktop about a week or so after checking the RAM, so a couple weeks ago I sent the PC back to CyberPowerPC and I got my computer back about 6 days ago, with a paper saying they replaced my graphics card. I still get BSOD, mostly while playing games(counterstrike source, garrys mod, fallout: New Vegas) or when I'm just browsing the internet or listening to music on iTunes.

I tried this, but it didn't work;
I deleted PowerISO after looking up a fix for an error message I got.

If you guys need any more information, just ask. Although I'm not too familiar with cpu, hard drives, motherboards and stuff, I filled out my computer spec's as best I could while signing up.

Edit: The html report thingy says it can't find an anti-virus but I got nod32 and downloaded microsoft security essentials earlier today. I'm thinking about keeping both on my computer, is that a smart thing to do? or do I stick with one?

Your .dmp file is blaming dxgmms1.sys ( part of your graphic driver set ) as the cause of your crash .. Download DriverSweeper and completly remove your graphic card drivers, then reinstall the latest version available from your cards support site.

Try removing any CD virtualization programs such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%. They use a driver, found in your dmp, sptd.sys, that is notorious for causing BSODs. Use this SPTD uninstaller when you're done: DuplexSecure - Downloads

Hey, I've uninstalled PowerISO, and deleted sptd.sys. then I uninstalled my graphics card driver, booted up into safe mode, ran Driver Sweep, booted up normally, and installed the latest drivers.

For the outdated driver, I have no idea which download to choose, I'm not familiar with any of that stuff. If you don't mind, do you think you can point me to the right download link? I got my spec's written down in the "My system specs" thing.

Well, a friend of mine recently told me about a program named Driver Genius, I bought it and it had me update 4 things, one of them being AMD South Bridge Drivers. After creating a restore point, I installed the 4 drivers and so far everything had been working fine.

Will update with a new bsod dump report thingy if I blue screen again.

Thanks for updating us ;) If your system is stable now, I would suggest making an image of your system drive .. its a LOT easier to restore an image than do a complete reinstall of your OS and programs..

This will show you how to create a system image (clone) backup of the entire hard drive or partition that Windows 7 is on, and any other selected drive or partition, to be able to restore the hard drive or partition at boot up back to the way it was at the time the backup image was created.

Well, I blued screen once or twice again. I redid everything, so here's the new report;

I am going to do as Tews said. Although I did it the day before posting the topic. I'm going to redo it and follow his steps because I saw a dxgmms1.sys on the blue screen. I'll try that right now and if you guys see anything else I could update or something, please post it.

Tomorrow, I'll buy an usb drive and run the memtest86 and test the ram. My brother said he checked it while I was out by only checking to see if the computer could read the amount of RAM I had, and assumed it was working because it could. I'll have him check each stick and run the memtest86 on each stick overnight.
Also, I ran the prime95 test, the small FFTs for about 9 hours and had no problems. I ran the blend for 3 hours and had no problem.
One more thing, I bought a new game via Steam; Test Drive Unlimited 2, I blue screen after playing the game for a bit, meaning when my system stresses, I blue screen.

Here are some new logs and stuff. Other than checking the ram over the next 2 days, what can I do?
