Hey guys!
I've got a really annoying BSOD problem.
I'm using x64 Windows 7
The pc I'm using is brand new, except for the video card and I got it from a retailer
When I first got it, there were some software problems but I took care of them by formatting my disk and re-installing my OS.
Now, all of this happened yesterday, and during that day I must have restarted my pc a few times while getting all my drivers.
This morning however, it couldn't seem to make it past the windows 7 start up screen (the one with the flag appearing from 4 balls of light).
After that it would either restart entirely or show me a quick bluescreen before restarting.
After some time and by some miracle, it managed to get past that and I could use my pc again. Then, whilst installing some updates for windows, it gave me a blue screen again and restarted.
Anyone have any idea as to what might be the problem?

Two of three Related to L1C62x64.sys L1c PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller from Atheros Communications, Inc. Re-install newest.

Pretty much eliminates software, so hardware needs to be looked at. I would look at the gigabit Ethernet controller. Can you borrow a card, use wifi, etc to use a different method

Got another card... no difference... did another clean install and the problems were gone. Restarted after everything I installed, no problems. I haven't tried any of the windows updates yet. Then, this morning, the day after I reïnstalled, it crapped out again during startup... the same problems I had before. During the windows startup logo, it restarts or does one of I think four types of bluescreens...
I've seen an IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, something about a driver, a type where he does a quick bootdump with a long code at the bottom and one where he doesn't make a bootdump and doesn't restart untill I press the restart button...

I'm back to report on yet another couple of problems.
I get another blue screen when I wait long enough on the Log-on screen of windows.
When I tell the computer to enter sleep mode, he doesn't. He just quietly crashes and turns off the power, or he really does go to sleep and the problems arrise when I try to get him out of hibernation mode, I don't know.
I booted up my pc this morning and it couldn't read my IDE devices. I had to cut power and reïnsert every cable to get them to work again.
That last one seems like a BIOS problem.
I already reset it once, with the jumper thingy on my motherboard, a while back and that didn't really do anything.

Are you by any chance using a usb stick or something else which you use as a Readyboost memory? If so please disable and retry?

Small chance but you never know. Most of your dumps point to normal W7 system files which, if really corrupt, would cause much greater probs than the BSOD's...
So it is probably still HW or a weird third party driver...

Do you have problems in Safe Mode w/ Networking?

Also, your Perfmon has an issue with your hard disk, a warning only, but still, strange for a new PC setup.
That Maxtor is a new disk? Strange that a PATA would have any trouble on a new system/mobo...

Nope, I'm not using a Readyboot.
Actually, that was one of the things that confused me too. In safe mode, wether with Networking, Commandprompt or with neither, It has a tendency to crash too.
My hard drives are actually from my old computer, but they were still functional the day I placed them in my new rig.
I have two: that Maxtor is the one I've got Windows 7 installed on which is a IDE drive, and a Western Digital hard drive which is a SATA.
I've discovered something else, though I'm not sure it has anything to do with this.
In the BIOS, my WD drive is labeled as the Primary IDE Master drive, even though it's a SATA and the Maxtor is listed as the Tertiary IDE Master drive.
There doesn't seem to be a place for SATA drives either. But as I said, I don't know if that matters.

Another interesting note: The computer only crashes during start up after a shut down. Resetting doesn't seem to affect it all that much.
I think that means it's an error in the BIOS isn't it? 'cause When you turn off the power it re-reads the BIOS, not when you reset.

That does sound strange... If it's a new system, I'd go back to the shop and haven them confirm HW vs BIOS settings.

What still also bothers me is that you have logged errors with a readboot image, even though you don't use one... a good thing to check at the shop too.
