Hello MichaelVH, welcome to SF!

Your last dump shows problems with some drivers that have to do with your Hard disk:

For the latter, I'd try to update here: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Default.aspx
For the first.... I'm not sure. Probably at HP and maybe it would be best to first try to get the latest drivers etc from HP for your system...

You also need to finish the unfinished Windows updates:
Please go to your Maintenance Center and check the Windows Update status. Make sure you are up to date, do them one by one manually if needed.

The drivers at HP were outdated by a few years so I had to manually go to websites to update the drivers. The unfinished Windows update gives me an error code which I will give when I get home.

I manually updated my drivers from each website because HP's website had drivers from a few years ago. I completed all my Windows Updates and some manually from the website, but I am still getting BSOD especially when I am playing games.

So it is not after sleeping (anymore)?
Can you update the set again with the latest dumps?

Please fill in all details in system specs?
How old is this system? If BSOD's mainly in gaming, are you aware of any temperature differences? Does your LT get hot?

When I open my computer after sleep and play some games on Steam, the BSOD is more likely to occur. My system is about 2 to 3 years old. My laptop does get hot when I play games and I am aware of the temperature differences. All my drivers are updated. Here are the updated dumps.

Have you ever (had someone) open up the LT to clean out the fan's and check airflow? If not... on a LT > 1 year... chances are that is part of the problem. The fan(s) try to blow external air through a cooling element that consists of many metal strips, close together. Within a year (depending on your environment) that can get clogged with dust in such a way that it is fully blocked... Since your LT does show this behavior under stress, that's the first thing I'd check.

I'll have a look at the dumps soon to see if that tells us anything else...

So... a bottle of conpressed air will work?

It could if it is not too clogged up. I assume you're thinking of using compressed air and not opening up the LT?
If too clogged it won't work, you'd need to open up the system, which takes some technical skills. Don't do this yourself if not experienced in this.

After a recent BSOD (0x0000D1) , I am unable to startup my LT. I can access my Startup Menu. When I attempt to startup Windows 7 I am left with a blan screen and a blinking line on the top left screen. What should I do?

start up in Safe mode and try:
Run a system file check to verify and repair your system files.
To do this type cmd in search, then right click to run as administrator, then
SFC /SCANNOW

Read here for more information http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html

I can't access safe mode. The only things I can do is do HP system diagnostic, BIOS Setup, Boot device options and system information. When I choose system recovery, it is a blank screen.

Do you have a repair disk that you can boot from? Seems like your bootrecord on C: s messed up.
