I just did a fresh install of Windows 7 on a reformatted hd. It has crashed on me three times. I am thinking it is my ati display driver it is pretty much the only thing I have installed. But I am not sure, It would be greatly appreciated if you guys could help.

Memory corruption is usually from antivirus, so uninstall that to test. Disabling will have no effect.

Hi and welcome

We do need the original dump file as we can munge the data in ways that you cant, but in the mean time since debugger shows memory involvement I would download memtestx86 and run it for several hours at least or overrnight. overnigh is prefered both for memory and to see if there is a heat issue

For the ASACPI one, visit your motherboard website and install the latest ATK0110 or Probell Utility.

Use the device manager if needed. Right click it. Update driver software. Browse. Let me pick. Have disk. Browse. Double click on the extracted .inf from the installer. Hit ok. Hit next.

Also visit ATI/AMD's website for the latest video card driver because what you have now is old.

Ok I updated the display driver and the ASACPI one, but I could not find the other two.

I also ran memtest86 for the last 3.5 hours, it did 4 passes and found no errors.

But I had a BSOD not long after I rebooted into windows.

iteatapi.sys has to do (most likely) with the controller for your IDE devices ( iteatapi.sys - Greatis Software ) I'd suggest updating your motherboard/chipset drivers first. The chipset is from Intel, so you can get the chipset identification utility from Intel, and then can get the drivers from Intel: http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support?iid=gg_work+home_support_downloads

e1e6032.sys has to do with your Intel(R) PRO/1000 Adapter NDIS 6 networking driver ( e1e6032.sys - Greatis Software ) You can get the latest version from the Intel Download Center ( Intel® Product Support )

The dump files still suggest issues with Memory Management, but one points to the ataport.sys driver. So, I'd suspect your motherboard/chipset drivers as the case here - especially considering the older storage driver that's on the system now (from the first paragraph of this post). Please download the latest Windows 7 driver for your chipset from the Intel website. If there aren't any Win7 drivers, please post back for instructions on installing Vista drivers in Compatibility mode.

NOTE: I've seen some RAM voltage issues with the P5 series of boards from Asus. I don't know anything about this, but would suggest checking with Asus and the RAM manufacturer to see what you should be using for voltages/timings on your system.

You may also want to try these 2 tests to see if that can identify a problem with your hard drive(less likely, but still possible):

CHKDSK /R
Run CHKDSK /R from an elevated (Run as adminstrator) Command Prompt.
When it tells you it can't do it right now - and asks you if you'd like to do it at the next reboot - answer Y (for Yes) and press Enter. Then reboot and let the test run. It may take a while for it to run, but keep an occasional eye on it to see if it generates any errors. See "CHKDSK LogFile" below in order to check the results of the test.

Elevated Command Prompt
Go to Start and type in "cmd.exe" (without the quotes)
At the top of the Search Box, right click on Cmd.exe and select "Run as administrator"

CHKDSK LogFile
Go to Start and type in "eventvwr.msc" (without the quotes) and press Enter
Expand the Windows logs heading, then select the Application log file entry.
Double click on the Source column header.
Scroll down the list until you find the Chkdsk entry.
Copy/paste the results into your next post.

The only chipset drivers available are for the display adapter. Maybe I am not looking in the right place, Here

I did install the inf driver utility though but it did not seem to help.

I updated my Ethernet driver

I ran Chkdsk a few days ago but did not find any errors but I will try it again.

I think I fixed the problem, I took out both my ram sticks and cleaned the slots and reseated the sticks, its been running for 15 hours with no BSOD's so I think it is fixed!
