I have a Lenovo SL410 which worked fine for app. 2 months then suddenly started having BSODs all over the place (4-5 per day or more) - often related to sleep or hibernate (sometimes just in the middle of using explorer). The dump is below -- the only thing that i can think that may relate is a Lenovo port replicator i tried to install a while back but which i also tried to uninstall (after this problem started). Please HELP!

Attached is a zip of the minidump files (btw, i needed to log on as Administrator in order to access/zip these files even though my userid has administrator privileges -- any idea why?). Thanks for the help on the BSOD -- had two more blue screens while trying to zip the files.

These were all caused by the directx component of your video driver. You need to remove all traces of the current driver before you download and install a fresh copy

driver

Ken, thanks for the analysis. Could you let me know the driver name and how to get rid of all traces of it? Under "display adapters," the mobile Intel 4 series express chipset family is shown; under "system devices" i do not see a driver specifically referencing a video component. Appreciate the help.

This particular driver does not need to be scraped clean, sorry. You can simply download and install a fresh copy.

The name of the driver is igdkmd64.sys that is the directx component.

Let us know if you need help

Right-click on the Intel 4 series thing in Device Manager, and select Uninstall.

Reboot, and the new drivers should be automatically installed. You can also try selecting your laptop here and installing the appropriate graphics drivers.
