Okay, I've restarted in safe mode about five times and uninstalled each time. But then the driver couldn't install, even when I tried the original one. This explains my error: the-computer-site.com - The Computer Site - "Your system does not meet the minimum requirements..." The error had this number after it: (9996). But I know that the update will work as long as I have the hardware installed - any version driver.
The version I've ended up with after uninstalling so much is 3.0.0.41. Is it all right if I just update that one with the HP update?
