Hi, I had an issue with my PC BSODing now and again, it seemed to be when I was printng, but also happened at other times too. I was getting a BSOD once every few days.
So I updated all my drivers ( found about 14 out of date ) made sure there were no windows updates, and thought that should fix it.
But now it is BSODing every few mins.

I'm running Windows 7
Cpu : Intel Core i7-2700K 3.50GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor
MB : Asus P8Z68-V GEN3 Intel Z68 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard
RAM : Corsair Vengeance Gold 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit

Attached is a zip with 45 dump files over 3 days.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I have gone through the USB fix, took a little while to get the printer reinstalled. It kept failing to install one of the drivers. In the end I noticed it was looking on windows update to find it, told it not to and it installed fine.
Thanks for your help so far, I guess its cross fingers and wait time :)

OK so it seems that the BSOD's have calmed down, only problem is that almost every time I try to print something I get a BSOD. And yes the printer is connected via USB.
When I did the USB fix I did delete the printer driver, and downloaded the latest software to install it again.

Did you try installing the driver from device management?

Upgrading drivers for pre-existing device
  1. Open Windows Device Manager.
    -Click on the Start Orb.
-In the Start Search box type: device manager and then press enter and you should see something similar to the below example.
  2. In the Device Manager locate the device you wish to update the drivers for/look for a :warn:
  3. Right-click the device and click Properties.
  4. In the Properties window click the Driver tab.
  5. Click the Update Driver button.
  6. In the Hardware Update Wizard point Windows to the location of the updated drivers on your hard drive
Once drivers have been installed reboot.

OK so I am at a loss, with all the drivers reporting to be up to date, nothing in device manager with a warning, I am still getting BSOD's every time I print. It will print the first page sometimes, and then crash on the second, and sometimes crashes 3/4 of the way through the first page.
As it seems to be a USB issue, I was thinking of getting an AP point for my network and hooking the printer up wirelesly as a networked printer, as it does have this capability.

Hello again, sure you could try that way.

Whats the model and bran of your printer? You might want to go and check for a driver update from the manufacturers website. Install and see if that fixes the issue. I have called for more help. Lets see what we can do.

Sorry but I'll try my best :(

did you go to the printer's web page for the Driver? If not do so, Windows Update usually has one older.

Well it would be nice to have more info on the printer. What I would do if it was my computer is remove all HP Photosmart drivers and photo/print programs. Reboot with the printer hooked up and let Windows find the needed drivers. They might be a little old but they have been tested by Microsoft to work. Then I would check Windows 7 Updates and see if Microsoft has any updates for your printer. I had to do this method with two Kodak printers. Their programs and drivers were nothing but muck. Windows 7 has gobs of drivers built in that are tested.

Hi, sorry for taking so long to reply.
The printer is an HP Photosmart 5510 e-All-in-One
Product No. CQ176B
Model No. B111a
I may just have fixed it, only some time will tell.
What I did was to uninstall everything I could find in Programs and Features related to HP.
Deleted the printer in Devices and Printers, and uninstalled every driver I could find in Device Manager related to the printer. I then rebooted and connected the printer but windows didn't try and install anything for it. So I ran the HP basic drivers software to install the printer, and when it was installing the drivers, I clicked on the pop up box and clicked on the 'skip searching online' It installed and I have done a scan, and printed a few things and it didn't BSOD.
Only thing I have noticed is I now have an unidentified device in Device Manager, but I can't find out what it is. But it doesn't seem to have stopped anything from working, so I'm trying not to worry about it.
I will let you know in a few days if it is still working.

Thanks for the help.

Very good news!
The unidentified device may be a card reader on the printer if it has one. IT could also be another connection for it which you aren't using, like a parallel or COM port.
