hi i just recently installed windows 7 ultimate and keep getting these bsod.

attached is a winrar with all the bsod dumps.

i dont know how to fix it.

also i think it could be the video card
ASUS EN8800GS
ASUS EN8600GT

i got either one of these and i cant seem to install the drivers off the cd.

any help would be greatly appreciated

thank you

Hello !! Welcome to SF !!

I guess it's your nVidia Driver that has caused the problem. I would recommend to uninstall the existing Driver and and reboot and reinstall it.

So the First thing to do is to disable Automatic Driver Installation so Windows won’t
http://www.sevenforums.com/drivers/10731-automatic-driver-installation.html

Follow this link For nVidia Driver removal also Run a Hardware Diagnostics Hardware Diagnostic !! « Captain Debugger

ASACPI.sys is notorious for BSOD. It belongs Asus Utility. I would recommend to uninstall all the Asus Utilities from the Computer. Then go to C:\Windows\System32\Drivers and rename ASACPI.sys to ASACPI.bak

Also there is a EXCEPTION_CODE: (NTSTATUS) 0xc0000005 that usually refers to Antiviurs / Firewall i would recommend to uninstall it and run a Cleanup Tool to make sure all entries.

Out Dated Drivers

Code:
nvlddmkm.sys Sat Dec 08 05:03:41 2007
ASACPI.sys Mon Mar 28 08:00:36 2005
Hope this helps,
Captain

Yes you could remove AVG and Spyware Doctor and use the removal Tool !! You could use Microsoft Security Essentials MemTest86+ Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool would be bootable CD format so less chance it might crash.

Hope this helps,
Captain

The driver sweeper website is not working

There you’ll find uninstall. Click uninstall and follow the prompt.
Now go to:
Start | under search type in Programs and Features look for nVidia Drivers and uninstall it if you find any.
Then Download Driver Sweeperthe instructions in how to run it is on their website.
Clear the Temp folders. Once you do that reboot your System. Once it’s rebooted then go ahead and install the Drivers from the Download on desktop.
For the ATI card its the same procedure. Driver Sweeper should work for ATI Display card as well.

Hello !!

Sorry for the Delayed replay :(. I was on a vacation just came back. It's indeed your sound driver. I have the same problem before. There is new Drivers available for your Creative Audigy Card.

Code:
Unable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\drivers\P17.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for P17.sys

Follow these instructions:

1) Open Device Manager, locate your soundcard, right click it, choose Uninstall, check "Delete driver files" and click on OK. Reboot when prompted to do so.

2) Boot into Safe Mode:

For 32-bit: Open the \Windows\System32 folder and delete APOIM32.EXE, APOMngr.dll, CmdRtr.dll.

For 64-bit: Open the \Windows\System32 folder and delete APOMgr64.dll, CmdRtr64.dll.
Now open the \Windows\SysWOW64 folder and delete APOIM64.EXE, APOMngr.dll and CmdRtr.dll.

Now delete the following registry trees:

For 32-bit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Creative Tech\Software Installed\APOIM
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Creative Tech\Installation\CTRedist\APOIM

For 64-bit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Creative Tech\Software Installed\APOIM
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Creative Tech\Installation\CTRedist\APOIM

The download this Support pack and install it SB P17X Series Support Pack 2.7 (04/01/2010) - Aud... - Creative Labs

Good Luck,
Captain

i hit restart then it said do you want to Startup restore ( Recommended)

i clicked no and said started normally it blue screened

then i tried it again and it went into windows but the sound volume control ont he bottom right has a x on it!!

Hello Mate,

It's pointing to the same Driver. First follow this http://www.sevenforums.com/drivers/82054-turn-off-windows-7-automatic-driver-installation.html then follow then instructions in removing the Driver. Don't install the Drivers from Microsoft that is causing more trouble here. Just install the Support Pack alone in normal mode. If it prompts you to install the newer version just ignore it. I'm using the same card. So faced the similar situation.

Good Luck,
Captain
