BSOD's on new machine

We'll this is my first time on the on the forums. I wish I would have found this website before I installed Windows 7 Pro 64. I have nothing put problems with this thing. So here is one of my latest BSOD's. This happended in Safe mode also. Can't wait for all your help. I really want to use this really fast computer.

Again it had BSOD while in safe mode. I really need someone's help. I can only stay on the computer for about 15 minutes at a time.

I suggest starting all troubleshooting with the following diagnostic tests. They'll save you a lot of time and heartache if there is a hardware failure, and you'll have the disks on hand in case you need them in the future:

H/W Diagnostics:
Please start by running these bootable hardware diagnostics:
Memory Diagnostics (read the details at the link)
HD Diagnostic (read the details at the link)

Also, please run (if you're able to) one of these free, independent online malware scans to ensure that your current protection hasn't been compromised: Malware (read the details at the link)

Norton/Symantec is cited in one of the BSOD's. Please do the following:

Anti-Virus Removal:
Please do the following:
- download a free antivirus for testing purposes: Free AntiVirus
- uninstall the Norton from your system (you can reinstall it, if so desired, when we're done troubleshooting)
- remove any remnants of Norton using this free tool: KB Article Not Found
- IMMEDIATELY install and update the free antivirus
- check to see if this fixes the BSOD's

Thanks for your response. I got frustrated and went ahead and reinstalled the OS. I made sure I updated the drivers with the latest ones. I also did not reinstall Norton. I went ahead and installed MS Security Essintials instead. It has not had a BSOD yet. I hoping it's good. I'm also going to do the checks on the memory and hd. I'm also going to get a good image copy while it's running good. Thanks

If you start getting BSOD's after a fresh install - it's most likely a hardware problem (although it can be due to something that you've installed).

Well after 7 hours of computer use I finally got another BSOD. I rebooted after doing a system backup and windows update.

It's happened about five times today. I did a clean install, but I guess I missed something. I just installed the latest Nvidia driver. Hope that works.

Yep, it looks like a hardware issue.

BUT first you've gotta get rid of this: RTCore64.sys Wed May 25 02:39:12 2005 (42941D90)
It belongs to RivaTuner/EVGA Precision/MSI Afterburner (and has known issues w/Win7 and will cause BSOD's)

Check all of your hardware and software here for compatibility issues: Windows 7 Compatibility: Software Programs & Hardware Devices: Find Updates, Drivers, & Downloads
Then start removing everything that you can from the system - and replace the stuff that's left with other, known to be good stuff. Here's a link to a post that I wrote about this a while back: Hardware Troubleshooting Via System Stripdown
