Solved BSODs playing flash games in Facebook and others

Alright, I'm sorry I wasn't aware. You can skip those steps.

Do you have any additional dumps to upload?

Best Regards,
Frederik.

No problem. :)

I send you in attachment the latest results of Windows_NT6_BSOD_jcgriff2.

Since the last post, it happened a few times.

What are your temperatures just before crashing? (Use Speccy for instance)

Best Regards,
Frederik.

Temperatures are good.

The temperatures of the cores does not go above 49ºC (I use Core Temp 1.0 RC3).

I have been making some research of my own also and I came across this information from Intel concerning the compatibility of the memory I have and the i5-2500K processor: i5 2500K compatible memory

What it basically says is that the i5-2500K only supports DDR3-1066/1333 and as my memory is 1600 (although it is working at 1333) it "will force the memory controller to downgrade the speed to 1333Mhz. This will be causing a discrepancy between the memory and the Processor that will affect the system performance and also may damage the Processor."

Do you think this memory issue can be the reason for all this BSOD's?Thank you.

A friend of mine lent me a Corsair DIMM 4GB DDR3 CL9 PC3 10666 (1333) and the computer has been running for over 12 hours without any crash.

I will test it for some more hours and see if it stays stable and without BSOD.

What do you think of this?

I'd call it bad memory then. It's an excellent friend you have mate!
Keep using it, do heavy processes and see if it'll crash.

Best Regards,
Frederik.

Best Regards,
Frederik.

We switched memories for a while to see if it had anything to be with the memories.
Over 36 hours without any BSOD and without flash crashing, doing what usually used to cause those problems in my computer.

My memories also caused trouble on my friend's computer and so we concluded it had something to do with my memories.

I'm going to send them for RMA. Hope they don't give any problems.

I'll keep you posted.

Guess the problem is solved as I have not experienced any BSOD since last Saturday.

Thanks all for the help you have given.

Hope this helps other users.
