Hello

I really hope someone can help me before I ditch my PC and buy a new one!!!

I built a new rig in December last year using a new mobo, HDs and some existing parts (ram, DVD drives etc). Installed Windows 7 64 bit and have been having fairly regular BSODs from the start - I'm really hoping someone here can shed some light on how to solve it! (If I beg, would that be OTT!?!? :D). Sorry, but it's more than a little frustrating!!

I attach the two zip files as instructed - it's all gobbledegook to me but hope it shines some light on the issue!

The OS is Windows 7 Home Retail - installed on completion of build.
The system is about 2 years old (except new mobo & HDs) & the install about 3 /4 months old.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer - it really is very much appreciated!

Your Kaspersky product is the cause

Older versions have known problems with Windows 7, update to 11.0.2.556(with patch b.c.d) by totally uninstalling the current version and download the latest one

Thanks for your reply yowanvista.

As suggested, I uninstalled Kaspersky, downloaded and installed vers 11.0.2.556 and left it running a full virus scan.

I came back to find the PC had restarted following another blue screen..... additional mini dump attached

Any other ideas?

Thanks

Run a scan of malwarebytes
Use Revo uninstaller to remove Kaspersky and its leftovers then reinstall it

Thanks Yowanvista

I've done what you've suggested. Malwarebytes scan was negative (full scan) and I used Revo to remove Kaspersky before reinstalling, again to 11.0.2.556

Now I just wait to see if I get a BSOD again :(

Thanks once again for all your help!
