Hi everyone! I really hope I can find help here as my $1K DIY Pc Combo deal from NewEgg is not being nice to me. This is my first time using Windows 7 (previously XP). But not my first time building a PC.

I have virtually nothing else installed. I just built this machine last Friday. I installed Win7 and started getting BSOD's so after a day of aggravation, and I thought my install was broken I reformatted and reinstalled Win7.

Welp, it's happening again. Windows likes to hang when it's trying to get updates, and will BSOD upon restarts or while trying to download/install. I've lost my younger age intelligence w/ Dos and Software/Hardware related stuff, so please respond like I'm a 5 year old. =)

Here's my Comp hardware:

MB - ASUS P8P67 DELUXE (REV 3.0) LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS (Model:P8P67 DELUXE (REV3))

VideoCard - ASUS ENGTX560 TI DCII/2DI/1GD5 GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card (Model:ENGTX560 TI DCII/2DI)

Chip - Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 3000 BX80623I52500K (Model:BX80623I52500K)

Memory - CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 (Model:CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9)

HD - Seagate Barracuda ST31000524AS 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive (Model:ST31000524AS)

Thank you SO much for any help!

I do not have that Bios, and your link goes to Error page. Could Asus' support page be down? And am I overclocked? I don't think so, how would I find out that information?

If you have not done it yourself you are probably not overclocked.

I've tried several times but to no avail, Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Client Profil for Windows 7 x64 based Systems (KB982670) fails to install.
