I have had several of these and tried analysing the minidumps myself but I simply don't understand the information in the dumps.
I already let Memtest86 ran for 4 hour, 6 iterations, no errors detected.
Also did CHKDSK on my C drive, nothing found. My install is on a SSD disk that's almost new, no smart errors detected.
CPU was previously slightly overclocked. I disabled all overclock and although BSOD's aren't happening as often now, the PC still crashes when underload, it justs takes longer or needs to be under heavier load now.
Additional info: I ran sfc /scannow and it found several files were corrupted and was able to fix all but 1, named "hp8500at.dll". I got that file from a working PC, used windows search to find it under the C:\Windows directory. The file is present in more than one location, I took ownership and replaced it in one of the locations, after that it doesn't show up in Windows Search anymore
. I ran SFC /SCANNOW again and now it says "0000033f Hashes for file member \SystemRoot\WinSxS\amd64_prnhp005.inf_31bf3856ad364e35_6.1.7600.16385_none_30e9a6119eda44e5\Amd64\hp8500at.dll do not match actual file [l:36{18}]"Amd64\hp8500at.dll"
The problem now is that I can't find the path for the "Actual file". Anyways, I gave on fixing this file for a while. It's an HP printer driver and I don't have any printer, so I think it's unlikely it's the cause of the issue.
