Is Windows 7 . . .
- x64
- Not the original installed OS, the original installed was 32bit Windows Vista Home Premium. After being given the all-clear to upgrade to Windows 7 I did so to 32bit, and then again to Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit, and then back down to my current OS: 64bit Windows 7 Home Premium (with Service Pack 1)

(Each upgrade was a clean install)

- Full Retail Version

- System hardware is about 2-3 years old, graphics card slightly newer
- Have had to clean install a few times due to issues, so less than a year on current OS since last clean install

I have received these errors through general use of my computer. I use my computer for gaming, internet-browsing, work, and as a video and music player. I also run a server for me and my friends for gaming, but my ram and video card memory is never a problem. However, I always have something wrong with my computer and I never know what's wrong.

I'm aware there are a lot of dumps but I would be grateful if I could get a quick response, thanks for your time guys.

If there's any extra information you need feel free to ask

I just get random errors at intervals of about a few days so I can't be sure yet.
Is Mcafee the only problem the BSOD dumps point to? Or is it that bad a piece of software? :)

My computer also runs pathetically on newer games, fair enough it's 2 years old but it's specifications should destroy the newer games.
I run a Core 2 Quad @ 3GHz a piece, with 4GB RAM on 64bit windows 7 and a 1GB video card. On Battlefield 3 (and most new games) I can run them on medium settings at best. I'm also running the latest Nvidia drivers but I'm really concerned it's something to do with my ram, or maybe my computer has been infected? All I know is my computer used to be top-of-the-range, and it should still be up there but it's not performing as well as it should be doing

Thats because the 9800GT is old and unable to handle most modern games, it used to be a high end card but it's time has passed. An upgrade would be better.

I had a feeling it was my graphics card after having a look at all the new cards out on the nvidia website, some of their capabilities are just stupid. I'll run the memtest when I get time. I'm due to take my computer in for maintenance anyway, so I'll ask them for recommendations about video cards. Thanks for the reply

I think what i'm going to do is upgrade to the nvidia gtx 560ti - it's unbelievable value-for-money. And i'm replacing my 2 sticks of 2GB DDR2 400Mhz RAM with 1 or 2 sticks of 4GB 1333MHz DDR3 RAM
