Been having a little trouble with my home-built Windows 7 x64 system. It was running fine for a couple weeks but started blue screening a week ago when I was adjusting Windows font sizes in the settings. Happened 3 times and every time I was tweaking Windows appearance in the settings.

Then it was fine and hadn't blue screened again until yesterday, not doing anything special, just web surfing. I've built several XP systems over the years without issue, so not sure what's going on.

I have 4gb Corsair Ram, I did run memtest for about 8 hours with no errors. I ran prime95 for a couple days after my build without issues.

Probably caused by : win32k.sys ( win32k!GreSelectFont+40 )

I strongly suspect it is related to your font change.

As a test, can you return your font settings to default?

Thanks for the quick note. I would be glad to try reverting my font, but I wonder why would that happen? Why would me tweaking the font sizes cause the blue screens? After I finally was able to set them, the system was fine for a week. But then, as I mentioned, I did have another blue screen yesterday during just normal computer use. Just in case anyone hasn't opened the zip in my original post, I was getting 2 different strings in the BSODs:

BAD_POOL_HEADER in 2 of them
and
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA in 2 of them
