BUFFALO Hard Disc (500GB) not working ! Please Help me out.

Hi,

My BUFFALO external Hard Disc is not working since long time. I am having so any important data in it.
Hard disk is connected and light is also blinking, but under Disk Management always getting a error message, "you must initialize a disk before logical disk manager can access it"

In Device manager, port is also showing under USB Controller.

I am using this external drive since 2011/12 and no issue with it, Last time I used it 1.5 year ago, till time it was working fine. I checked this drive with another PC/Laptops, even with another USB cable, but not working there too. Showing same error messages as its is like my laptop.

Kindly Help me out !

Its lost its parition table and you need specific parition recovery software Free Partition Recovery Tool | MiniTool Software Solution if it doesnt work there are lots more free ones you often find one doesnt work but the next will

The last time I looked, Minitool free version does not include partition recovery. It also does not include boot media builder.


Aomei partition Assistant free (standard) version includes partition recovery and boot media builder.

This boot media includes Aomei partition Assistant and several other free tools:

17514x86.iso

17514x64-v9.iso

How to use this software...please guide me and help me out of this odd time.

I don't want to loose any data in it. Need some specific guidance for recovery of the HDD.

Note: HDD is 500GB size from Day1 I purchased and last time used. BUT in above screenshot it is showing 2.00TB.

Correction, it looks the free version of Aomei no longer does that.

Use PGURU/Disk Genius instead:shortcut is on the boot media desktop
