As SoLoR pointed out, the name contradicts itself. The x in RC1CULXFRER stands for x64. So that's a good way to tell a fake right off the start.

There's been some 3rd party 7 look alike items you can download for Vista to give you the feel of 7 like a taskbar. There's also a chopped up Vista called Black Edition RC2 2009 That's a total fake as well just to promote someone's web site.

The latest actuall leak is the 7068 64bit some report. The gadgets were enabled here on the 7000 build by lowering the UAC to the first notch easy enough showing how easy it is to see fakes being pushed.

When looking over these so called newer builds something like "7068.0.090321-1322_x64fre_client_en-us_Retail_Ultimate-GRC1CULXFRER_EN_DVD.iso" looks far more real then a good number of them seen so far.

That is what Windows 7's taskbar looks like when you use the "Use small icons" option. If you have a running copy of Windows 7 handy, try it for yourself: just right click the task bar, select properties, then choose the small icons option.

When checking the small icons for the taskbar on the 7000 build here you end seeing...



The icons seem to shrink down to the size of dots not buttons as seen in Vista with the quick launch there as well.



With the customizations coming out for Vista to give you that 7 look already that alone isn't enough to go by while the number is suspect right off. As far as the clock and date you check off that item to show or uncheck to not show in the taskbar properties. The same goes for the volume control and any other items in the notification area.
