Burn Bin file to DVD

Is it possible to burn a bin file to a DVD in Windows 7 or do I need additional software?

Without too much testing i think it is possible, i selected a .bin file and the clicked on burn below the explorer bar and it was ready for me to copy...

Give it a go, see what happens

In principle -yes. Windows 7 has the burning capability.

To be honest, I've never used it, I'm too used to Nero, this is what I use for burning. Others here in the forums use ImgBurn, which is a free app or CDBurnerXp, also free.

I use a bit of both but most of the time i use Nero
