I'm not a fan of roxio or nero...for the same reason...both are very bloated applications.
I've had good luck with cdburnerXP and imgburn. My preference is imgburn as I have had a few problems in the past with cbburnerXP..causing my CPU to spike to 100% when burning a cd. Had something to do with one of the application DLL's according to their forum site...not sure if that is fixed now or not. I've simply moved onto imgburn and have been very happy.
