I have just got a new computer with windows 7 home edition
I burned my photos to a disk using windows. when i finished the photos were deleted on my hard drive and i had to copy them from the disc back onto my computer (same as the cut and paste) My question is how do i stop the photos being deleted when burning them to disc

How did you go about Burning the pictures onto the disk? Also was the Disk a Master Disk (DVD Player Format) or a Live File System (USB Like - Compatible with Windows XP or Later)

Many Thanks,
Josh

hi
I opened my picture folder and burned the disk from there. I choose the Master CD/DVD disk

If you are using an explorer drag and drop it should copy. If you are using some application to do this it may have a "delete files from source" setting. Camera transfer programs often have this.
