I was looking for parts for a second rig and then I found these things called barebones kits that come with everything a DIY rig would need and this one looks pretty interesting and well worth the price so can y'all tell me if you think that these specs can play crysis 2 on high-very high?

MSI P67A-C43 B3 Core i5 Barebones Kit - MSI P67A-C43 B3 Mobo, Intel Core i5-2500K, Corsair 4GB DDR3 RAM, GeForce GTS 250 512MB, Seagate 1TB HDD, Thermaltake V3 Tower, 600W PSU, Windows 7 Pro 64-bit

the reason I'm using crysis 2 is because that's basically become the benchmark for all rigs graphically. Anyways help appreciated :)

Your graphics card is your weakest link, by far. It will play Crysis 2, but not likely at high-very high.

Probably in and around medium. (A lot will depend upon the resolution you want to run). A GTS250 is practically equivalent to my Nvidia 9800GTX+ card.

Here is a thread on this very topic
Crysis 2 on GTS250??? - Games-General-Discussions - General

Seems some report about 30fps at 1280x720 at high with a GTS250.

Unfortunatly not alot, however if you have a spare £40 you can spend on top, you could upgrade to about a gefroce 430, which would be better for modern games, however the 500+ range would be best for you by the sounds of what you want, but they carry a hefty price.

that's a bummer but I did find another kit with a Radeon HD 6570 1GB and I know that can play games at high resolution overclocked for sure. And the kit's cheaper but it doesn't come with an OS but I have that handled here's the specs.

MSI A75MA-G55 AMD Dual Graphics Barebones Kit - MSI A75MA-G55 Mobo, AMD Quad-Core A8-3850 APU, Radeon HD 6570 1GB, Corsair 8GB (2x 4GB), Seagate 1TB HDD, 24x DVDRW, Thermaltake V2 Mid-Tower, 450W PSU

I think after a while I'll upgrade the PSU and then move on towards the CPU maybe a black edition well either way tell me what y'all think
